Scriptwriter Sayed Fouad, president of the festival, also said that the winning films will feature the logo of Luxor African Film Festival on their credits as a production supporter with an additional dedication to two symbols of African cinema: Ethiopian filmmaker Haile Gerima for his role in the industry and his support to cinema across the continent; and Egyptian star Nadia Lotfy for her exquisite film career. It is a recognition and gratitude to these pioneers who contributed to the conscience of the African industry.
